Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent training and experience in business or hospitality management.
• Experience in a continuing education setting, hospitality environment, or program management environment with a focus on event planning.
• Experience with financial management of a variety of programs such as short courses, conferences, workshops and special events.
• Strong technical skills including word processing, Excel, email, internet navigation and understanding of social media.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously while prioritizing according to need and schedule.
• Exceptional organizational skills; maintaining thorough and accurate program files.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected changes professionally.
• Must be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and contract programs and develop scopes of services, implemented by the Program Coordinator.
• Oversee financial management and accountability for programs.
• Ensure programs stay within scope and meet established timelines; manage onsite duties and vendor relations.
• Handle post-program financials and reporting.
