Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent training and experience.
• Experience in a continuing education, hospitality, or program management setting with a focus on event planning.
• Financial management experience for conferences, short courses, workshops and special events.
• Strong technical skills: word processing, Excel, email, internet navigation and social media.
• Ability to manage numerous projects and details simultaneously and accurately while prioritizing according to need and schedule.
• Exceptional organizational skills; must maintain thorough and accurate program files.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unanticipated changes or emergencies effectively.
• Must be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote CPE objectives by managing conferences, short courses, and other outreach programs.
• Contract programs and develop scopes of services implemented by the Program Coordinator.
• Oversee financial management, budgets, and post-program financials.
• Coordinate onsite duties, vendor management, and timelines.
