Job summary

Operation Blessing is seeking a Program Communications Coordinator in Virginia Beach to craft proposals, grant applications, reports, and donor communications that showcase the impact of our global programs.

You will coordinate materials, gather data from multiple teams, and ensure accuracy and brand alignment while supporting an Integrated Media approach. This role emphasizes clear, persuasive storytelling aligned with OB’s mission.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement in written materials.
• Experience writing grant applications, proposals, reports, or donor communications preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, InDesign, and Canva and ability to learn new software systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate proposals, grant applications, stewardship reports, letters, presentations, and other communications for funding partners.
• Gather information, data, outcomes, budgets, and stories from multiple departments and turn them into clear and compelling communications.
• Review materials for accuracy, grammar, clarity, consistency, formatting, brand standards, and alignment with OB messaging.
• Contribute creatively and strategically while ensuring communications reflect the organization and its ministry impact.
