In this role, you'll use your writing, editing, and communications skills to help tell the story of Operation Blessing's work around the world and strengthen relationships with donors, churches, foundations, corporations, and other funding partners.

You'll help develop compelling proposals, grant applications, reports, presentations, and other communications that demonstrate the impact of Operation Blessing's programs and help secure the resources needed to reach people. Serving in this position facilitates ministry activities and contributes to OB's Biblical mission to extend a helping hand in Christ's name to meet physical and spiritual needs.

If you're an exceptional writer and editor who loves making information clear, compelling, and meaningful, and you want your work to have a purpose beyond a paycheck - we'd love to hear from you!

The salary range for this position is $48,000 - $55,000 annually. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on a combination of education, relevant experience, and demonstrated skills aligned with the role requirements.

What You'll Do

You'll play an important role in communicating the impact of Operation Blessing's global programs and supporting the relationships that make our work possible. You'll develop and coordinate proposals, grant applications, stewardship reports, letters, presentations, and other communications for funding partners. You'll work closely with program, media, monitoring and evaluation, and other teams to gather information, data, outcomes, budgets, and stories and turn them into clear and compelling communications.

You'll also serve as an important quality-control resource for the Integrated Media team, reviewing materials for accuracy, grammar, clarity, consistency, formatting, brand standards, and alignment with Operation Blessing messaging. This position offers the opportunity to contribute both creatively and strategically while helping ensure that our communications effectively represent the organization and its ministry impact.

What You'll Bring
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement in written materials
  • Experience writing grant applications, proposals, reports, or donor communications preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, InDesign, and Canva and ability to learn new software systems
  • Ability to gather, organize, and synthesize information from multiple departments into clear and compelling communications
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with stakeholders
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
  • Demonstrated commitment to Biblical principles and practices consistent with Operation Blessing's Christian mission
