POSITION SUMMARY:

The Program Auditor will be responsible for working with the Finance and Auditing staff on all aspects relating to the processing and billing of transactions. As a team member, the associate will be required to input transaction data with relative speed, review transactions for accuracy, analyze and audit trips for compliance and patterns, collect and organize daily data, and process and balance vendor transactions,

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • 1. Review transactions/vouchers for program compliance, analyze data for comparison and reasonableness, and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • 2. Review and analyze trip data, research and resolve issues related to the audit findings, and create reports as required.
  • 3. Work with Accounting Supervisor to maintain appropriate reports and documentation related to any audits performed.
  • 4. Work with Accounting Supervisor on processing provider transaction files. Assist in identifying compliance issues and transactions outside of the program guidelines. Provide documentation as needed.
  • 5. Interact with Customer Service team to resolve any customer billing and account discrepancies.
  • 6. Apply participant payments to accounts in accordance with program parameters.
  • 7. Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • 8. Organize, maintain, and keep audit files and documentation as necessary.
  • 9. Provide support as needed amongst the accounting team.
  • 10. Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

College graduate with accounting and/or business focus.

COMPETENCIES:

Must have an excellent knowledge and be proficient with Microsoft Excel, including v-lookups, filtering and creation of pivot tables. Must have strong organizational skills, be detail oriented, able to work both independently and as member of a team and use judgment to make decisions.
