Applied Underwriters, Inc. is hiring a Program Audit Manager to oversee the Program Audit Team responsible for auditing internal and third-party insurance programs. The role ensures data accuracy, adherence to underwriting guidelines, and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will lead monthly audits, develop auditors, and refine audit scope with stakeholders and partners. The ideal leader has strong Property & Casualty insurance knowledge, audit expertise, and proven supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, insurance, risk management, business, or related area.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance, with direct experience in program oversight, underwriting, compliance, or audit.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in the insurance industry managing audit, compliance, or underwriting teams.
• Strong technological aptitude with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Program Audit Team and audits of internal and third-party insurance programs.
• Lead monthly program data audits and broader, in-depth audits of operations and compliance.
• Train and develop Program Auditors and ensure the team meets audit obligations.
• Update audit scope and methodology and engage with internal stakeholders and external program partners.
