Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field with two or more years of experience in a grant-funded program in health, public health or human services.
  • Experience with grant writing, monitoring, and grants management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of state and federal health care delivery systems, particularly rural health issues.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and stakeholders in public and private sectors.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate grant-funded activities and monitor sub-awards to external vendors.
  • Support compliance and reporting requirements and assist with stakeholder engagement.
  • Contribute to the CT State Office of Rural Health Grant Program and CT-ORH program activities.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, committees, and events as needed.
