Job summary

Circle of Service Foundation in Chicago, IL, seeks a Program Associate to support the Community Services Program in all aspects of grant review and grantmaking, including administration, research and special projects. The Community Services Program funds work in health, housing and homelessness, hunger, domestic violence, disability services, legal services and economic security.

The Program Associate will report to the Community Services Program Director, with time split across grantmaking,

Qualifications

• Support the Foundation’s Community Services Program in all aspects of grant review and grantmaking, including administration, research and special projects.
• The Community Services Program supports organizations in health, housing and homelessness, hunger, domestic violence, disability services, legal services and economic security.
• The Program Associate will report to the Community Services Program Director and time will be allocated approximately: 50% grantmaking and special projects; 25% grant review and recommendations; 25% research and other work as assigned.

Responsibilities

• The Program Associate will split their time (approximately) between grantmaking assistance and monitoring and leading and participating in community services and capacity building projects.
• They will collaborate with partners and staff to advance program goals and ensure effective grantmaking processes.

50% support of grantmaking and special projects

25% grant review and recommendations

25% research and other work as assigned
