Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Program Assistant to support the Director of Social Services and Community Program Coordinator in delivering Community Center programs for children and adults, fostering emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.

You will assist with programs such as Community Kitchen, showers, and laundry, build participant relationships, enforce safety rules, and help maintain the facility. Training in safety and first aid may be required.

• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing, conducting and supervising Community Center programs.
• Help build relationships with parents and children participating in programs.
• Enforce facility safety regulations and emergency procedures.
• Maintain order in the Community Center and enforce conduct rules.
