Job summary

Open Circle of Buffalo is seeking a part-time Program Assistant to join our adult day team. This position offers variety, a strong work-life balance, and no evenings, weekends or holidays. We provide training and a supportive, close-knit environment where you can make a meaningful difference.

You will help create and implement activities, assist with personal needs, take vital signs, and accompany participants on group outings. Our team values compassion and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience (HHA, PCA, CNA) preferred, but not required.
• Activity planning or related skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to be trained.
• Valid MN Driver’s License.
• Desire to work with elderly adults.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily recreational and leisure activities.
• Assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living).
• Take vital signs.
• Daily charting.
• Assist in creating and implementing daily programs/activities.
• Transport participants in mornings, afternoons and activity outings.
• Daily upkeep of Adult Day Center.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Open Circle of Buffalois hiring aProgram Assistantto join our adult day team! We will train for this position!

As aProgram Assistant atOpen Circle of Buffalo, you will help create andimplement variousactivity programs such asart projects, exercise groups, trivia games, small group discussions and all kinds of musical programs. You will also go on group outings which may include shopping excursions, attend local events and more! Other duties include assisting members with personal needs,pass medications, and help with the daily upkeep of the center. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with mature adults, thrives in a positive work environment, and has good critical thinking skills.

Position Type: Part-Time

Hours:7:30 am to 3:30 pm working threedays perweek (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday)

Pay Range: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience

Location: 619 Montrose Blvd,Buffalo, MN 55313

Program Assistant Responsibilities:
