Job summary

The Saratoga Regional YMCA is hiring for a Program Assistant to support the daily operation of youth and adult programs such as Youth Sports, Archery, Adult Leagues, STEM, Dance, Arts, Family Programs, Birthday Parties, Parents Night Out, and Kids Night Out. The role keeps spaces safe, welcoming, organized, and aligned with YMCA standards.

You will assist with program setup, equipment, attendance tracking, and participant service while upholding YMCA values.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction.
• Comfort working with youth and adults in a program setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Coordinator in preparing and delivering program activities.
• Support program set-up, equipment organization, and clean-up for safe, high-quality experiences.
• Provide excellent customer service to participants, parents, guardians, and members.
• Help maintain program safety by following YMCA policies and incident reporting guidelines.
• Assist with supervising participants to ensure a positive, inclusive environment.
