Job summary

California State University, Northridge is seeking a Program Assistant for the ASAP APIDA Resource Center on campus. The role supports coordination of CSUN ASAP programs, outreach, events, and student referrals, under general supervision.

Responsibilities include arranging workshops, mentoring, cultural programming, and updating communications. A four-year degree in a related field and experience in student services are required; advanced degrees may substitute experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, public or business administration or related field.
• One year of professional Student Services experience at entry trainee level.
• A Master's degree may substitute for required experience.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination and delivery of CSUN ASAP programs and initiatives.
• Assist with outreach, events, and administrative processes.
• Provide information and referrals to students about APIDA Resource Center and CSUN ASAP services.
• Conduct intake meetings to assess basic student needs and guide referrals.
• Develop outreach materials, newsletters, and social media content.

Education

Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences/public or business administration
