Agape Care LLC is looking for reliable, motivated and caring individuals to fill a Program Assistant role in our Limitless Adult Day Program and provide support and services to those with developmental disabilities. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to impactful programs while developing valuable skills in caregiving and community engagement.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm (NO evenings and NO weekends)
Driving Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am-9:30am AND 2:30pm-5:30pm
All Program Assistant will be on a rotation for the driving route and will be expected, on average, transport clients to/from the facility once a week.
Location:
Multiple locations in Dublin available. (One off Sawmill Rd. Exit and one off Tuttle Exit)
Job Duties:
- Provide engaging activities and socialization opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.
- Teaching skills in independent daily living, work preparation, and community involvement
- Aid with meals and personal care as needed.
- Aid in program development and implementation.
- Supervise program activities and ensure compliance with guidelines.
- Promote programs and engage with the community.
- Collect data to measure program effectiveness.
- Support marketing efforts to increase program visibility.
- Providing transportation for consumers before, during and after programming hours.
- Provide administrative aid for project management tasks.
- Establish and support positive relationships with other departments within the agency.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Light cleaning of vehicle, restrooms, common areas, etc. as needed.
- Duties are subject to change depending on varying needs of consumers.
In this role, you'd be working with individuals with a spectrum of behaviors. Training will be provided on how to redirect and deescalate. If you have any behaviors you are uncomfortable working with please communicate that during the interview process.
Qualifications:
- 1 year previous experience as a caregiver
- Strong skills in program development and implementation
- Ability to recruit and engage participants effectively
- Experience in supervising activities and teams
- Capable of data collection and analysis for reporting purposes
