Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Des Moines, IA is seeking a part-time Program Manager to oversee beneficiary services and ensure program compliance. The role includes supervising medication calls, conducting orientations, and leading weekly meetings, while supporting safe transportation and activities for beneficiaries.

You will maintain records, handle incident reporting, and coordinate with chaplains and administrators to meet program goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Managerial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enforce house rules and maintain center security.
• Conduct beneficiary orientations and facility tours.
• Lead weekly house meetings.
• Supervise medication calls and ensure proper documentation.
• Respond to beneficiary inquiries and emergencies.
• Complete incident reports and Safe From Harm documentation.
• Implement and coordinate leisure activities.
• Provide safe transportation when needed.
• Assist in resolving beneficiary problems.
• Train and supervise work therapy assignments.
• Assess and refer spiritual needs to Chaplain/Administrator.
• Administer drug and alcohol screening tests.
• Maintain daily reports and electronic data entries.
• Document program violations and incidents.
• Support center policies and ensure program compliance.
