Job summary

Dallas Area Rapid Transit is seeking a Program Analyst to provide operational and analytical support to Revenue Operations. You will help ensure accurate reporting, metrics tracking, and project coordination for enterprise-level initiatives.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Revenue Operations, you will prepare dashboards, maintain documentation, and coordinate with staff and contractors. A Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience are required, with strong Excel and Tableau skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations or related field.
  • Four (4) years of professional experience in administrative, program analysis, or operational support.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office; Tableau or similar analytical tools.
  • Valid Texas driver's license to operate non-revenue DART vehicles.
  • Strong written and oral communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative and operational support to Sr Manager, Revenue Operations and secondarily to the Senior Manager, Revenue Systems.
  • Prepares reports, metrics, and performance dashboards to monitor system uptime, operational efficiency, and SLA compliance.
  • Tracks project progress and supports capital project documentation, including coordinating with staff and contractors as needed.
  • Maintains accurate records of operational activities, staff assignments, SOP updates, and process documentation.
  • Supports vendor and contract tracking, including data on performance, SLA adherence, and invoicing.
  • Assists with policy documentation, procedure updates, and process compliance tracking.
  • Coordinates communication and liaison between teams to facilitate smooth operations and project implementation.
  • Provides administrative support to the AVP for enterprise-level reporting, policy documentation, and program initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

General Summary

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Revenue Operations and provides operational and analytical support to both the Revenue Operations and Revenue Systems Senior Managers. The Program Analyst ensures smooth daily operations, accurate reporting, documentation, metrics tracking, and project coordination. The role also provides support to the AVP, Payment Systems and Statistical Reporting for enterprise-level reporting, policy documentation, projects and strategic support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

Note: An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the below stated minimums excluding High School Diploma, GED, Licenses, or Certifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Four (4) years professional experience in administrative, program analysis, or operational support.
  • Experience with public transportation operations preferred.
  • Possess a valid Texas driver’s license to operate DART non-revenue vehicles.
  • Pass a physical (medical) examination that includes a drug screen.
  • Strong proficiency in personal computer (PC) software applications such as Windows, Microsoft Office applications of Word and Excel, presentation, and database, analytical tools (i.e. Tableau) or other related software applications.
  • Strong written and oral communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to details required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload across multiple projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Working Conditions

Works in an environment where there is minimum exposure to dust, noise, or temperature. May be moderately exposed to unpleasant working conditions to include dust, noise, temperature, weather, petroleum products, and chemicals while visiting DART's operating facilities, assuming incumbent is observing all policies and procedures, safety precautions and regulations, and using all protective clothing and devices provided.
