Job summary

ORBIS Inc. seeks an experienced program manager to support NAVSEA TEAM SUB Submarine PEO UWS (SWFTS) programs, interfacing with PMS offices and related organizations. The role is based in the Submarine Trainer Readiness Program Office, contributing to submarine R&D, acquisition, and readiness activities for NAVSEA TEAM SUB.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in program/project management, Navy acquisition, and five or more years in submarine training program management. U.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of program/project management experience.
• 10+ years of Navy acquisition and/or In-Service Programs experience.
• Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer.
• 5+ years in Navy Submarine Training PM.

• TEAM SUB comprises PEO SSBN, PEO SSN, PEO UWS and the Direct Reporting Program Office, AUKUS Integration & Acquisition Office; helps structure submarine R&D, acquisition, and maintenance.
• Position located in the Submarine Trainer Readiness Program Office.

• Provide support to NAVSEA Team Submarine (TEAM SUB) Submarine PEO UWS (SWFTS) Program Offices and supporting organizations: PMS 401 – Submarine Acoustic Systems, PMS 425 - Combat and Weapons Control, PMS 435 – Submarine Electromagnetic Systems, SUB-S, 07TR – Submarine Trainer Readiness, and Cybersecurity.
• TEAM SUB is a combination of Program Executive Office (PEO) Strategic Submarine (PEO SSBN), PEO Attack Submarines (PEO SSN), and PEO Undersea Warfare Systems (PEO UWS) and the Direct Reporting Program Office, AUKUS Integration & Acquisition Office (AUKUS). The TEAM SUB concept divides the single submarine-centric organization into specific PEOs with the goal of enhancing the structures and processes in the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities.
• This position is located in the Submarine Trainer Readiness Program Office.

Required Experience and Skills

• 10 or more years of experience in program/project management.
• 10 or more years of experience with Navy acquisition and/or In-Service Programs.
• Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer.
• 5 or more years of experience working in Navy Submarine Training Program/Project Management.

Degree Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a business or technical field.

• A secret security clearance
