Job summary

ORBIS Inc. is seeking a seasoned professional to support NAVSEA TEAM SUB Submarine PEO UWS programs. The role requires extensive experience in engineering/science management, naval acquisition, and submarine radar systems, with strong project leadership and a current secret clearance.

The candidate will engage with multiple PMS offices and related organizations, interfacing with end-item customers to ensure program success and readiness across submarine systems and cyber security domains.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering/science management, operations research analysis, financial/cost analysis, or related field.
• 10+ years of Navy acquisition and/or In-Service Programs experience.
• Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer.
• 5+ years working with Submarine Radar Systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to NAVSEA Team Submarine (TEAM SUB) Submarine PEO UWS (SWFTS) Program Offices and supporting organizations.
• Assist PMS 401 – Submarine Acoustic Systems, PMS 425 - Combat and Weapons Control, PMS 435 – Submarine Electromagnetic Systems, SUB-S, 07TR – Submarine Trainer Readiness, and Cybersecurity.
• Work within the PMS435 Program Office and interact with program customers and stakeholders.

• Provide support to NAVSEA Team Submarine (TEAM SUB) Submarine PEO UWS (SWFTS) Program Offices and supporting organizations: PMS 401 – Submarine Acoustic Systems, PMS 425 - Combat and Weapons Control, PMS 435 – Submarine Electromagnetic Systems, SUB-S, 07TR – Submarine Trainer Readiness, and Cybersecurity.
• TEAM SUB is a combination of Program Executive Office (PEO) Strategic Submarine (PEO SSBN), PEO Attack Submarines (PEO SSN), and PEO Undersea Warfare Systems (PEO UWS) and the Direct Reporting Program Office, AUKUS Integration & Acquisition Office (AUKUS). The TEAM SUB concept divides the single submarine‑centric organization into specific PEOs with the goal of enhancing the structures and processes in the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities.
• This position is in the PMS435 Program Office.

Required Experience and Skills

• 10 or more years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, financial/cost analysis, or a relevant field.
• 10 or more years of experience with Navy acquisition and/or In-Service Programs.
• Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer.
• 5 or more years of experience working with Submarine Radar Systems.

Degree Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a business or technical field.
