Job summary

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks a professional to support project management, engineering, construction, and real estate managers by preparing and submitting programming documents.

About the Position

Collaborates with and provides guidance and assistance to project management, engineering, construction, and real estate managers in the preparation and submission of programming documents. Keeps abreast of status of studies and projects, recommends reprogramming within the authority of the District Engineer, and prepares justification when necessary, for major reprogramming to obtain approval by HQUSACE and/or the Congressional appropriations committees.

Minimum Qualifications NH-03: Specialized Experience

One year of specialized experience which includes executing various budget and/or project management processes such as preparing of obligation and expenditure budget submissions, coordinating update of cost estimates, tracking obligations and/or expenditures, monitoring project obligation, expenditure and/or milestone schedules; utilizing financial management systems and/or project scheduling software; and working within a team in developing and/or implementing process improvements in regards to financial management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11).
