Job summary

Minneapolis VA Healthcare System seeks a data analyst for the Primary & Specialty Care service line. The position consolidates, analyzes, prepares, and presents data from all Specialty Care programs.

The GS-9 level requires specialized experience, or a master's degree (or two years of graduate study), or a combination with relevant graduate coursework. Documentation of education may be required.

Job description

This position is located within the Primary & Specialty Care service line at the Minneapolis VA Healthcare System in Minneapolis, MN. The primary purpose of this position is to consolidate, analyze, prepare and present data from all Specialty Care programs.

TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION AT THE GS-9 LEVEL YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

Have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in Federal Service that includes applying analytical in evaluating methods and techniques to issues concerning the effectiveness of programs or operations in meeting establish goals and objectives; preparing and analyzing reports and work measurement data to assist management; and conducts cost effectiveness studies for clinical or administrative programs.

EDUCATION:

Have successfully completed a master's degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a related field of study, or LL.B. or J.D., if related, that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. This education must have been obtained at an accredited college or university. NOTE: If you select this option, you must submit a copy of your transcript with your application. COMBINATION:

Have equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate-level education (beyond the first year) and specialized experience, as described above, which meet the total experience requirements for this grade level.
