POSITION OVERVIEW

The Program Aide will be responsible for assisting in the supervision of all recreational activities, helping with the planning and implementation of events and activities, and keeping track of program attendance. The Program Aide will support the Program Director and Assistant Director in office and program functions.

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist in the implementation of Program Services.
• Organize and maintain office needs, program inventory, and program requirements.
• Serve as Program Liaison and assist with communication and outreach.
• Support and supervise program activities and events.
• Instill a positive attitude towards self, team, and sport among individual players.
• React productively to change and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
• Perform custodial duties necessary to maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum High School Diploma required; College preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience providing educational/recreational activities for children.
• Ability to interact in a supportive and nurturing manner with both children and parents.
• Bilingual – English and Spanish a plus.
