Teachers of Tomorrow seeks a professional and enthusiastic Program Advisor to coach and guide teacher applicants and interns through our alternative teaching certification program. The starting pay for this position is $23.00 per hour.

The Program Advisor provides superior customer service, mentorship, and encouragement to help candidates pursue their goal of becoming a teacher while engaging with districts and events as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a leading university or commensurate experience in an educational or professional administrative capacity.
• 1–2 years of customer service and/or sales experience.

Responsabilités

• Gain expertise about the certification/licensure programs, state requirements, and company policies and procedures.
• Engage with candidates to help them strategize and progress toward certification.
• Handle high volume calls and manage emails (inbound/outbound).
• Assist state operations with sales representation at job fairs/events.
• Build relationships with local districts and partners.
• Perform administrative, clerical, and events duties as directed by the Manager, Customer Success.
• Act in accordance with Teachers of Tomorrow core values.

The starting pay for this position is $23.00 per hour.

Position Summary:

The Program Advisor is responsible for providing superior customer service to all applicants and interns who are enrolled in the Teachers of Tomorrow program. The Program Advisor provides helpful guidance, mentorship, and encouragement to all applicants and interns to help them pursue their goal of becoming a teacher.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

• List essential job duties that are specific to the position
• Gain expertise about the certification/licensure programs, state requirements, and company policies and procedures
• Use this knowledge to engage with candidates to help them strategize and problem solve to move along within the program to complete their certification
• Engage and recognize incoming calls as priority tasks
• Manage volume of emails, inbound and outbound calls
• Will possibly assist state operations team with sales representation of the program in-person at job fair, marketing events and school district events
• Assist state operations team with building relationships with local districts
• Perform any other duties (administrative, clerical, events) as directed by the Manager, Customer Success Multiple States
• Act in accordance with Teachers of Tomorrow core values
• Perform other duties as needed.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree from a leading university with academic excellence or commensurate experience in an educational or professional administrative capacity
• 1-2 years of customer service and/or sales experience

• Strong sales, relationship building, and leadership skills
• Superior customer service, attention to detail, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated enthusiasm, initiative, teamwork, and professionalism
