Job summary

Ohio Department of Transportation seeks a District Program Administrator to provide direction for consultant contracts and coordinate with the Office of Consultant Services. You will oversee scopes, ensure compliance, and manage contract modifications across district staff and firms.

The role requires strong program management, organizational skills, and experience with ELlIS-like systems, LOI scoring, and interagency coordination. This position is based at District 9 HQ in Chillicothe, OH.

Qualifications

• 4 yrs training or 4 yrs experience in business administration, management science, or public administration.
• Undergraduate core program in business administration/management science/public administration with 2 yrs training/exp in supervisory/administrative roles.
• 1 yr experience as Program Administrator 1 (63122) or equivalent.
• Equivalent minimum class qualifications for employment as noted.

Responsibilities

• Provide program direction for district consultant contracts and act as liaison to the Office of Consultant Services.
• Develop consultant scopes and lead scoping of services; authorize agreements.
• Guide district staff and engineering firms on consultant contract compliance; oversee modifications and invoice processing.
• Update ELLIS, LOI scoring, and related management information systems for the delivery of the program.
• Serve as technical resource and advisor to District offices, FHWA, LPAs and external stakeholders.
