Grove City College invites applications for a regular full-time faculty position in the Department of Computer Science. The department offers ABET-accredited degrees and collaborates with Engineering. Faculty teach a 4/4 load and engage in undergraduate student research and advising.

A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field is preferred; master’s candidates or industry experience will be considered.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Candidates with a master's degree pursuing terminal degree or industry/research experience will be considered.
• Strong record of effective undergraduate teaching is preferred.
• Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications.
• Preference will be given to cybersecurity, DevOps, game design, or embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of lower-level and upper-level undergraduate computer science and engineering courses.
• Guide undergraduate student research projects.
• Advise students and develop innovative pedagogy and curriculum.
• Maintain a 4/4 teaching load.
