Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Computer Science & Cybersecurity beginning Jan 1, 2027. The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate CS courses and contribute to program development.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s in CS or related field, practical experience in software development, networking, data science, or AI, and a demonstrated teaching capability in multiple CS areas.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or closely related field from an accredited U.S. college/university or international equivalent.
• Expertise in software development, networking, data science, or artificial intelligence.
• Teaching competence in two or more CS areas such as programming, algorithms, databases, networking, AI.
• Christian Commitment: active member of a Protestant evangelical church, aligning with Geneva’s Foundations of Christian Education.
• PhD in CS or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach twelve contact hours per semester and manage course workloads.
• Maintain currency in research or industry to mentor students in advanced projects.
• Prepare course materials and lessons with clear expectations and timelines.
• Provide timely, transparent feedback and grades via college systems.
• Advise CS and cybersecurity majors and participate in student recruitment.
