Job summary

Alamo Colleges District is seeking a part-time, temporary Math Tutor for the Tutoring Services location in Universal City, TX. You will conduct 19 hours per week of tutoring, primarily after 5:00 p.m. hours may be possible Monday-Thursday up to 7 pm.

The role emphasizes individualized tutoring to support student success with Algebra, Calculus and Statistics in a multicultural setting. Position is hourly with no benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent education (60 hours) including successful completion of college-level coursework in the related field.
• 1 year of tutoring, teaching or directly related experience.
• Experience tutoring various college level math subjects such as Algebra, Calculus, Statistics.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized tutoring sessions to identify and address students' academic needs.
