Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for a full-time, non-exempt role. Responsibilities include trimming/removing trees, operating and maintaining tools, loading debris, and safely coordinating around work sites.

The position requires physical fitness, comfort with heights, and adherence to safety procedures. We offer competitive hourly pay with comprehensive health, retirement, and support benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Walk, climb and work from ladders or at various heights in outdoor conditions.
• No fear of heights and good hand-eye coordination.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic and operates trucks/equipment.
• Maintains good housekeeping on trucks and at worksites.
