Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber to join our team in a full-time, non-exempt position. You will trim and remove trees, operate and service equipment, and partner with crews to complete debris management while prioritizing safety.

The role requires climbing and handling equipment at various heights, with background checks and pre-employment screenings as applicable. Company benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment or material.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and loads debris; feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks and equipment.
• Maintains safety around work areas and protects employees and the public.
• Assists in training new employees.
• Inspects tools, trucks, and equipment for proper working condition.
