The Professional Staff Nurse delivers highly competent patient care and treatment, demonstrating empathy and a passion for learning. Shifts/Hours

Our RNs work rotating 12-hour shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage.

The Professional Staff Nurse, a Registered Nurse, manages and provides patient care activities, setting standards for quality and care. Responsibilities include managing patient care for a group of patients and their families, using independent judgment, communication, and collaboration. The role involves leadership, partnership, collaboration, and supervision, establishing and maintaining relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, patients, and families to achieve desired outcomes. The nurse demonstrates a commitment to the community and nursing profession.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in quality improvement efforts, identify opportunities for enhancement, and utilize evidence-based practices to improve clinical care.
  • Apply the nursing process within Relationship Based Care to create healing environments, formulate daily goals, and develop holistic care plans involving patients as partners.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships, demonstrate accountability, and communicate effectively, respecting cultural differences and promoting safety.
  • Engage in professional development, participate in shared governance, and support change initiatives to enhance care quality and practice environment.
  • Utilize adult learning principles to educate patients, families, students, and staff, providing effective teaching and mentorship.
