Job summary

Succurri LLC is seeking a Professional Services Engineer Tier 1 to drive the successful delivery and execution of client projects, from server installs to Microsoft 365 setups. You will work both independently and as part of a team, with extensive training and a clear path to Tier 2.

The role emphasizes coordinating schedules, configuring equipment and software, and ensuring on-time, on-budget project completion. Training on leading systems will be provided.

Qualifications

• Answering telephones and assessing customer requests.
• Experience working with customers primarily via phone and email.
• Experience working with Windows based computers.
• Experience with creating and managing user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory.
• Detailed understanding of computer chassis and component installation/removal.
• Mastery of installing/removing applications on Windows computers.
• Mastery of installing, configuring and removing printers on Windows computers.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, switches, routers, DHCP, DNS.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to address and defuse tense customer situations.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Project+ desired.
• Bachelor or Associate degree in information systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned and required operational and technical training programs.
• Maintain operational and technical skill sets.
• Coordinate project schedules with customers, vendors and Succurri personnel.
• Host and participate in new project kick-off calls with customers.
• Coordinate, configure, install and troubleshoot new equipment installation at customer locations.
• Coordinate, provision, setup, configure, deploy and troubleshoot new software or cloud systems.
• Coordinate, notify, train, update and assist customers with using new technologies and systems.
• Review, confirm, cleanup and de-provision old systems.
• Follow project plan schedules, tasks and processes.
• Follow daily scheduled tasks while also juggling same day requests.
• Enter time and service notes against customer tickets daily.
• Review project schedules, tickets and timelines daily for delivery.
• Communicate with the professional services team leader to address issues.
• Participate in professional service team meetings as scheduled.
• Meet or exceed KPIs daily.
• Onsite visits including site surveys, racking, installing network equipment, interfacing with onsite vendors, Go-Live assistance after cutovers.
• Create and update project templates and knowledgebase articles.
• Training provided for all duties listed above.
