New York University seeks a seasoned career services professional to oversee its department's credited internship program and to deliver innovative career services for Media, Culture, and Communication students in London and New York.
You will organize dynamic events, seminars, and workshops, build strong external partnerships, and guide students from admission through placement. The role requires 3+ years of university career advising and a Bachelor's degree, with a Master’s preferred.
Oversee and manage all aspects of the department’s credited internship program. Develop and deliver innovative, dynamic career services and special events, seminars, and workshops to meet the ongoing" professional needs of Media, Culture, and Communication students based in both London and New York.
Required Education: Bachelor's DegreePreferred Education: Master's Degree Student Affairs or Media/CommunicationsRequired Experience: 3+ years experience in career advising or counseling students at the college or university level or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Experience: Partnership management, event planning, student placement and experiential learningRequired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, listening, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to plan and deliver special events and seminars. Ability to liaise with external partners. Knowledge of standard office software. In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,000.00 to USD $77,700.00.
