Job summary

Shrimp Basket Foley is seeking a friendly server to sell and serve food and drinks in a fast-paced restaurant. You will take orders, prepare beverages, ring orders in the POS, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining cleanliness and side-work duties.

The position requires legal drinking age, basic math and English skills, and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment. Training for ServSafe and Responsible Vendor is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be of legal age according to state regulations to serve alcohol.
• Basic mathematical, reading and writing skills.
• Must be able to make change.
• Basic computer skills.
• Multi-task oriented.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Must be able to suggestively sell food and beverage items.
• Must have good command of the English language, both oral and written.
• Must report to work on time with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work varied hours/days including holidays.
• Be able to complete ServSafe Food Handler and Responsible Vendor training.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders for alcoholic (21+) and non-alcoholic beverages and food items.
• Prepares orders for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Able to use a computer to ring orders into a POS.
• Suggestively sells and serves food and drinks to three to five tables.
• Clears and resets tables and maintains cleanliness.
• Interacts with customers, management and co-workers in a friendly/fast manner.
• Maintains side-work and overall restaurant operation according to policy.
• Reports to required meetings.
