Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is hiring Professional Security Officers for a full-time role in Nogales, AZ. The position offers a wage of $15.15 per hour, with Mon-Sat shifts from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, patrolling, and maintaining a safe environment while providing excellent customer service to employees and visitors. Pre-employment screening is required, including a drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.

Primary Location: Nogales, AZ

Wage:$15.15/HR

Schedule: Mon - Sat: 1300 - 1800

TheProfessional Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.

• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
