Job summary

Securitas, Inc. in Willcox, AZ seeks a Floater Security Officer (Part Time) to help maintain a safe environment. The role includes access control, patrolling, and reporting safety concerns for client sites.

The successful candidate will be at least 21, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have strong customer-service and incident-response skills. Training is provided, and pre-employment screening is required.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Arizona Unarmed Guard Card required; pre-employment screening including drug test.
• Ability to work independently and maintain vigilance during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Primary Location: Willcox, AZ

Wage:$16.00/HR

TheFloater Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Basic Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid Arizona Unarmed Guard Card required.
