Securitas USA seeks a Professional Security Officer to safeguard people and property at a Hillsboro, OR site. The role involves patrolling, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

You will enforce safety policies, handle incidents with calm judgment, and support a range of security operations while delivering excellent customer service to staff and visitors alike.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must stay calm under pressure and vigilant during shift.
• Able to respond to emergencies with rapid, sound judgment.
• Strong observational, communication, and quick decision-making abilities.
• Pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Professional Security Officer — Full Time

Site Location: Hillsboro, OR

Wage: $24.90/HR

Schedules

• Wednesday - Sunday 11pm-7am
• Saturday - Sunday 3pm-11pm

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
