Job summary

Naniq Global Logistics - Fairbanks is seeking professional truck drivers to deliver freight on scheduled routes with safety and accuracy. You will inspect pallets, handle accompanying paperwork, and assist customers at each stop using a hand truck and ramp.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 21, possess a valid license with clean driving record, and pass required drug and background checks. CDL may be required based on vehicle and route.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card may be required depending on vehicle type and route.
• 1+ year of delivery or transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight.
• Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques.
• Complete routes as assigned, adjusting for traffic or delays.
• Ensure shipments are secure and protected during transit.
• Follow DOT, company, and customer safety requirements.
• Maintain logs, delivery records, and vehicle inspection reports.
• Report equipment issues or delays to dispatch.
• Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Keep vehicle clean and fueled; schedule maintenance as needed.
• Assist with warehouse duties when needed.
