Job summary

Naniq Global Logistics seeks an on-site Delivery Driver in Anchorage to transport freight along fixed routes with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer interaction. You'll check pallets, deliver paperwork, and off-load at customer sites, using a hand truck and ramp where needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid license with clean record, and 1+ year delivery experience. Expect DOT compliance and routine vehicle inspections; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and DOT Medical Card.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 1+ year of delivery or transportation experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of road safety and defensive driving.
• Able to use a smartphone, GPS, and basic delivery apps.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight.
• Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques.
• Complete routes as assigned by dispatch, adjusting for traffic or delays.
• Ensure all shipments are secure and protected during transit.
• Follow all DOT, company, and customer safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and vehicle inspection reports.
• Report equipment issues, delays, or delivery problems to dispatch.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Keep vehicle clean and fueled, and schedule maintenance as needed.
• Assist with warehouse duties when needed (loading, organizing, staging).
