Roxbury Treatment Center, a UHS subsidiary in Shippensburg, PA, is hiring a full-time Professional Coder and Medical Records Clerk. The role is Monday through Friday and includes chart assembly, coding, and abstracting duties for adult and adolescent patient records.

Applicants should have RHIT or CPC certification, a high school diploma, and experience with coding and medical records. UHS offers a broad benefits package and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• RHIT or CPC certification required.
• High school diploma required; 1 year coding/records experience preferred.
• Experience with 3M encoder, Excel, and MS4 is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Chart assembly, chart analysis coding.
• Computer abstracting of discharged patient records.
• Responds to patients in crisis and acts accordingly.
• Retrieve charts from the floor and assemble them.
• Check for missing signatures and organize loose filings.
