Job summary

A reputable regional general contractor in Connecticut is seeking a Registered Land Surveyor to lead their survey teams. Responsibilities include managing field survey crews, hiring staff, and overseeing survey operations. The ideal candidate will have R.L.S. Certification and at least 5 years of experience in civil construction surveying. This position offers a competitive salary, annual bonus program, and comprehensive medical benefits.

Qualifications

• R.L.S. Certification mandatory.
• 5 years experience with civil construction surveying.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
• 5 years of experience with Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer, Trimble Business Center, Pix4D, Revit.
• Ability to operate and train equipment including but not limited to sUAS hardware, GPS, data collector, machine control.

Professional/Registered Land Surveyor Description

Are you a registered land surveyor looking for their next step? If this is you, I have an opportunity with a strong, reputable regional general contractor in Connecticut.

Registered Land Surveyor provides lead direction to the survey teams and survey department for a large heavy highway and civil contractor. You will assign field survey crews, hire/fire for the entire department and plan, assign, and direct the daily activities of 15 field survey crews in conducting preliminary, location, construction staking, property, precise, topographic, or other engineering surveys.

You will manage the entire survey department, and possess great people skills. Must be a self starter.
