• Ability to interpret insurance documentation and apply regulatory requirements.
• Identify trends and contribute to reporting and risk analysis.
• Proficient in internet research and quickly learn matter management and reporting tools; Salesforce experience required.

Responsibilities

• Own routine-to-moderately complex professional liability claims from intake through resolution.
• Evaluate findings and prepare denial recommendations and settlement proposals for approval.
• Lead DOI investigations and responses with timely, accurate submissions.
• Manage matter timelines, follow-ups, and deadlines per service standards.
• Maintain complete claim and complaint records in legal tracking systems.
• Support responses to insurance carrier inquiries with documentation and summaries.
• Escalate material risks and coordinate handoffs to paralegal or attorneys.
• Support claims reporting, trend analysis, and loss-prevention initiatives.
• Assist paralegals on litigated matters with document collection and investigations.
• Assist with legal and regulatory research and special projects.
