Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with CA Bar admission in good standing.
• Minimum 3+ years in professional malpractice litigation or related areas.
• Proven trial experience and strong research/writing skills.
• Excellent ethics, professionalism, and client service orientation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in professional malpractice litigation, including claims against attorneys and law firms.
• Conduct investigations, review documents, and evaluate case merits.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other filings.
• Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions.
• Manage all phases of litigation: depositions, hearings, trials, and appeals.
• Provide legal advice and risk-management guidance to clients.
• Collaborate with experts and build case strategies.
• Stay updated on malpractice law, court rules, and deadlines.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and communicate progress.
