Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC seeks an Associate Attorney in Litigation for our Los Angeles office. This role handles complex personal injury cases from filing through trial, with support from experienced trial attorneys and a robust resources network.

The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years of PI or civil litigation experience, excellent advocacy skills, and a client-centered approach. California Bar membership and JD are required; Spanish is a plus. On-site position with strong growth prospects.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school; active California Bar license.
• 1–3+ years of litigation experience in personal injury or civil litigation preferred.
• Strong oral and written advocacy skills.
• Experience handling depositions, mediations, and motion work.
• Ability to manage a litigation caseload independently.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Client-centered approach with strong interpersonal communication.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of litigated personal injury matters from filing to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Attend and argue at court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Work closely with clients, experts, and medical providers to build strong case strategies.
• Oversee and direct paralegals and legal assistants assigned to litigation cases.
• Maintain strong communication with clients to keep them informed and supported.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and pre-trial preparations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on high-exposure and complex matters.
• Maintain case files and documentation in compliance with legal and firm standards.
