Job summary

JLL in Dallas is seeking a Lease Analyst to manage the financial and administrative tasks of commercial real estate leases on client-dedicated accounts. You will work with the Lease Administration platform to maintain lease abstractions, landlord invoices, and reconciliation workflows.

The role emphasizes accuracy, data integrity, and timely reporting while collaborating with clients, vendors, and landlords.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or Associate's with experience) in Accounting, Finance, or Law or related field.
• Strong financial and analytical skills with ability to interpret data and variances.
• Advanced reading comprehension to interpret complex lease language.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Review CAM, tax invoices, and reconcile lease terms for accuracy.
• Analyze landlord reconciliation statements and variance calculations.
• Process reconciliation payments and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Conduct rent variance analysis to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and landlords to resolve issues.
• Enterdata for Estoppel Certificates ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Support special projects as assigned.

Lease Analyst

What this job involves:

As a Lease Analyst on our client-dedicated account team in Bedminster, NJ, you'll play a vital role in managing the financial and administrative complexities of commercial real estate leases. You'll work within our Lease Administration platform, supporting clients with everything from maintaining lease abstractions and tracking critical dates to managing full financial workflows including landlord invoices and reconciliation audits. What your day-to-day will look like:

• Review CAM and other escalations and real estate tax invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with lease terms
• Analyze annual landlord reconciliation statements and calculations, verifying accuracy and adherence to lease provisions
• Process reconciliation payments and coordinate financial transactions with appropriate stakeholders
• Conduct rent variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost optimization
• Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and landlords to resolve rent‑related and other landlord/tenant issues efficiently
• Enter and maintain data for Estoppel Certificates, ensuring completeness and accuracy
• Support special projects as assigned by your supervisor, bringing analytical rigor and attention to detail

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law, or an Associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in Real Estate Lease Administration, Accounting, Finance, Law, or Property Management
• Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify variances
• Advanced reading comprehension skills to understand and interpret intricate commercial lease language
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, building effective relationships with business partners
• Proven ability to multitask across multiple projects and deadlines in a high-volume work environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with commercial lease administration software or database programs
• Previous experience conducting landlord reconciliation audits
• Familiarity with CAM reconciliation processes and real estate tax calculations
