Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• Licensed Land Surveyor (PLS) in NC or ability to gain reciprocity.
• 8–10+ years of surveying on commercial & residential projects.
• 2–3+ years of leadership experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Carlson Software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, plan, manage and execute tasks for multiple survey projects.
• Coordinate survey tasks with project managers.
• Prepare, review, and modify boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, land subdivisions, and legal descriptions.
• Work in the field as needed, individually or as part of a crew.
• Supervise multiple field crews, teaching and overseeing standards of practice.
• Read and interpret construction plans and specs; understand construction layouts.
