Chefs’ Toys, a TriMark Company, in Fountain Valley, CA, is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service to chefs, restaurant owners, and cooking enthusiasts. You will handle transactions, assist with quotes, and strive to meet sales goals on the sales floor.

You will upsell, balance the cash register, process refunds and exchanges, and maintain an organized workspace while collaborating with vendors and customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of cashier and customer service experience is required.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional chefs, restaurant owners, and cooking enthusiasts with purchases at the counter.
• Proactively communicate with vendors and customers for special orders and upsell on the sales floor.
• Balance the cash register and generate receipts for every transaction; process refunds and exchanges.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and provide excellent customer service throughout the shopping experience.
