Job summary

COCC is seeking a Professional IT Services Manager to lead a geographically dispersed team of Systems Engineers delivering infrastructure solutions and consulting services to clients. This role emphasizes coaching, development, and building a strong team culture to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will lead, mentor, and grow the team, establish performance standards, and partner with clients and stakeholders to align solutions with business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed technical teams in Professional Services.
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure technologies (Windows Server, AD, M365).
  • Understanding of enterprise networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience overseeing infrastructure deployments, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
  • Knowledge of endpoint management platforms and deployment technologies.
  • Familiarity with virtualization/digital workspace tech (VMware vSphere, Horizon, Hyper‑V).

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed team of Systems Engineers.
  • Establish performance expectations and foster accountability and collaboration.
  • Manage resource allocation, workforce planning, and service delivery objectives.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support career development.
  • Drive process improvement and organizational change initiatives.
  • Oversee customer projects and consulting engagements.
  • Partner with clients and stakeholders to deliver aligned solutions.
  • Manage escalations and balance priorities while making sound decisions.
  • Support infrastructure deployments, migrations, and ongoing services.
  • Provide technical guidance for complex infrastructure environments.

What you’ll do…
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed team of Systems Engineers.
  • Establish performance expectations and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage resource allocation, workforce planning, utilization, and service delivery objectives.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support employee career development.
  • Drive process improvement, operational excellence, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Oversee customer projects, consulting engagements, and operational support activities.
  • Partner with clients, project teams, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage escalations, balance competing priorities, and make sound business decisions.
  • Support infrastructure deployments, technology refreshes, migrations, and ongoing support services.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for complex infrastructure and networking environments.
What you’ll bring…
  • Bachelor’s degree in aComputer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing geographically dispersed technical teams in a Professional Services environment.
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure technologies, including Windows Server, ActiveDirectory, Microsoft 365, and enterprise endpoint management
  • Understanding of enterprise networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS,DHCP, routing, switching, wireless networking, and VPN solutions
  • Experience overseeing infrastructure deployments, technology refreshes, system migrations, andmodernization initiatives
  • Knowledge of endpoint management platforms and deployment technologies.
  • Familiarity with virtualization and digital workspace technologies, including VMware vSphere,Omnissa Horizon, and Microsoft Hyper‑V
