Professional Engineer II - Municipal (Architecture)

We are seeking a Professional Engineer II with expertise in the study, funding, design, and construction of municipal projects for public entities. The role involves working on projects such as roadway, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water, and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

1. Serve as Lead Engineer and Engineer of Record on projects with moderate supervisor support.
2. Prepare funding applications, engineering reports, calculations, construction plans, specifications, bid documents, and administer construction contracts.
3. Communicate effectively with clients, government entities, and contractors to execute projects.
4. Lead or participate in project presentations, meetings, and conferences.
5. Oversee and mentor project personnel where applicable.
6. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines.
7. Follow Moore Engineering's Quality Management Plan.
8. Travel as needed for meetings, site visits, or project work.
9. Hold a valid driver's license and maintain insurability.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain registration within six months.
• Eight+ years of civil engineering experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Civil3D software.
• Knowledge of financing programs is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and insurability required.

Compensation

The salary range is $88,320-$121,440 for Colorado locations and $73,600-$114,356 for Minnesota locations, dependent on factors such as experience and credentials. Positions may be eligible for incentive programs.
