Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • 2–5 years of experience in heavy civil construction.
  • Experience supporting projects ranging from $500K to $50M.

Responsibilities

  • Perform staking and layout for earthwork, utilities, roads, and bridges.
  • Establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks.
  • Operate GPS (RTK) and robotic total stations; use data collectors.
  • Interpret civil plans, specs, and CAD files for field layout.
  • Verify grades, elevations, alignments and slopes to tolerances.
  • Conduct topographic surveys and document site conditions.
  • Support quantity tracking and progress measurement.

About the Position

The Professional Engineer (PE) will play a critical role in supporting field operations across heavy civil projects ranging from $500K to $50M. This position is based in St. George, UT and supports projects throughout Southern Utah and the Four Corners region.

Key Responsibilities
