Job summary

Rsc-Transportation-Inc is seeking dedicated drivers to transport school-age students using sedans, minivans, and wheelchair-accessible vehicles. Must maintain safety, assist students during boarding, and ensure proper use of belts and seats.

Applicants should have a 7D pupil transport license (or be willing to obtain it with our help), be 21+ with 3+ years of licensed driving, and pass a background check. Part-time and full-time positions available.

Qualifications

• Holder of a School pupil transport license (7D) preferred; assistance to obtain it will be provided.
• 21+ years old with 3+ years driving experience and clean driving record; ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school transport vehicle safely following state and federal laws.
• Transport students in sedans, minivans and wheelchair vans.
• Assist students during boarding, seating and securing belts.
• Communicate with students, parents, school and staff.

Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Safely operate a motor vehicle, in accordance with all state and federal traffic laws, while driving school-aged children.
• Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including sedans, mini-vans and wheelchair vans.
• Safely assist students as needed. This includes helping them enter and exit the vehicle, using the vehicle's lap and shoulder belts, and safely securing them in car seats and booster seats.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, school and company staffs.

REQUIREMENTS

• A School pupil transport license (7D Certificate) preferred. Easy to get and we will help you get it.
• Age 21+ & have had a driver's license for 3+ consecutive years.
• Satisfactory Driving Record (no suspension).
• Ability to pass a background check, CORI & SORI.
