Job summary

X-FIVE TRANSPORTATION in Wareham, MA, is seeking reliable drivers to safely transport school-aged children, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws. You will operate sedans, mini-vans and wheelchair-accessible vehicles and assist students with entering/exiting, securing seat belts, and using car seats as required.

Roles include communicating with students, parents, school staff and company personnel; the route is on the road with no daily commute home.

Qualifications

• A School pupil transport license (7D Certificate) preferred. Easy to get and we will help you get it.
• Age 21+ & have had a driver's license for 3+ consecutive years.
• Satisfactory Driving Record (no suspension).
• Ability to pass a background check, CORI & SORI.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a motor vehicle, in accordance with all state and federal traffic laws, while driving school-aged children.
• Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including sedans, mini-vans and wheelchair vans.
• Safely assist students as needed. This includes helping them enter and exit the vehicle, using the vehicle's lap and shoulder belts, and safely securing them in car seats and booster seats.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, school and company staffs.
• No commute as the van goes home with you!
