Confidential Employer is seeking a transactional legal training leader to design and oversee curricula that strengthen attorneys' practical skills and professional judgment. The role collaborates with practice leaders, PD teams, and colleagues across major markets in a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate has JD, bar license, 4+ years as an associate, and 2+ years in corporate/transactional law, with strong communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• JD and active bar license in the state you practice.
• 4+ years of experience as an associate.
• 2+ years of corporate or transactional law experience.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating in virtual and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with practice group leaders and PD teams to identify training needs and priorities.
• Design and oversee transactional training curricula for different attorney levels and practices.
• Create engaging in-person and digital learning experiences to strengthen practical legal skills.
• Develop transactional matter simulations to build experience and confidence for associates.
• Evaluate training programs and feedback to continuously improve initiatives.
• Lead needs assessments, focus groups, and surveys to measure program effectiveness.
• Support onboarding and integration programs for new and lateral transactional attorneys.
• Collaborate across teams to align PD programs with business priorities and evolving legal market trends.
• Manage and mentor junior PD team members.
• Stay current on learning technologies and trends impacting transactional training.
